Our Achievements

From 1992 - 2002 CJMAS has acquired and shipped portable to Jamacia X-ray machines, all the necessities for a complete small hospital laboratory, laboratory computers, peripheral equipment, ophthalmology equipment, and many boxes of basic hospital supplies. We have assisted the Foundation for International Self Help with cash donations to help refurbish their clinic.
In addition to the above, we have also financed the construction of part of a basic school and contributed to the staffing for Adult Literacy programs. Members of our group have also volunteered where needed at one of our sponsored schools.

Achievements since 2003-2009 contributed approximately $95,000CAD
As follows:

We donated 6 XO Laptops. We also donated many barrels of used clothes to Bluefields Community Project in Jamaica, supported ladies craft workshop bluefields, fund the Bluefield Fishermen's Friendly Society; supplied prosthesis & MRI for a needy student. Donated supplies & repairs to Bluefields School provided tuition towards teacher education at Bluefields and scholarship to a needy student for post secondary education.We also shipped shoes & tools to St. Anne's Comprehensive High School, woodworking dept., established a music and computer lab and donated a microscope to Pt.Maria Secondary School science lab.

Hospitals

We donated a foetoscope to Black River Hospital, anaesthetic machines via Food-For-The-Poor, Miami, to Kingston Public Hospital, surgical headlight & light source for surgical headlight, shipment of medical supplies and linen to Savanna-la-Mar Hospital Jamaica & disaster relief to princess Alice Hospital in Grenada.
Walkathon fundraiser contributed towards aspirator for removing brain lesions for the University of the West Indies Hospital, anaesthetic machines and optical equipment to FISH Clinic Papine. We also contributed Honduras Disaster Relief via Royal Height Baptist Church, and sent supplies to Mustard Seed Com, Kingston.

Our 2004 "One Love Run" walkathon raised over $40,000 towards equipment for the UHWI, Mona Jamaica
